Shaykh Murabit Benavidez is a distinguished scholar with over twenty years of experience teaching Islamic sciences. His extensive studies took him to Damascus and Mauritania, where he trained under the esteemed scholars Murabit al Hajj and Murabit Ahmad Fal. His areas of expertise include Kalam, Maliki Fiqh, Hadith, and Arabic.

Shaykh Murabit has held teaching positions at leading Islamic institutions in the United States, including Zaytuna College and Darul Qasim. In addition to his roles at these prominent institutes, he has also contributed to Islamic schools and community learning programs. Currently, he serves the Islamic communities of New York City and New Jersey, continuing his commitment to education and spiritual development.
